Who We Are
We are first and foremost a church whose head is Jesus Christ. Our primary authority in all matters is the Bible. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the North Carolina Baptist Association and the Buncombe Baptist Association.
What We Believe
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and our authority in all matters important to the church.
We believe, therefore, in one God who exists as Spirit and reveals Himself to people as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus the Christ is God and He manifested Himself in a human form to make God known more fully to the world.
We believe Jesus was born of a virgin, led a sinless life, died a perfect sacrificial death, was resurrected on the third day, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father interceding and ruling creation.

Hey, welcome to Woodland Hills Church.
Perhaps you have been in a toxic faith church experience...you know where you were taught Jesus has a 2x4 just waiting for you to get out of line! Out of line according to a man's opinion of what getting out of line looks like. Sound familiar? Perhaps your church experience was one that taught a person must earn more of God's love by going to church or reading the Bible. Both are good things to do but earning more of God's love? Seriously...the real Jesus loves you with an unconditional love. The Jesus of the Bible is the real deal and wants you to know Him and be His follower in relationship with Himself.
The Bible Jesus is not a disappointment! Would you like to hear more about the real Jesus? Would you like to sit down and discuss it over coffee (I'll buy). Are you sticking your toe in the church waters again? Check out our web-site and try us on before visiting. Our service is at 10:30 am each Sunday and we love having company. Our child care is excellent in a very clean environment with friendly volunteers. We even have a worship service just for kids! It's full of fun, singing, crafts, activities that they will love, or they can be in the main service with you...no problem. Come as you are as we dress casual too!
